About
Hi my name is Heather, I'm the owner and creator of Madi Shay. I started making soap in 2020 and with the help of my family I turned it into an official business in 2021. I'm a mother of two amazing kids, I named this company after my daughter Madison who is a soap fanatic, she loves bubbles! Just a little background, I was a Licensed Massage Therapist for about 5 years when I started having skin issues. The dreaded Eczema made its ugly appearance. So, hand washing about 40x's or more a day and my hands drenched in lotion's took its toll on my skin. I suffered with breakouts for a year before I had to quit. I'm pretty familiar with skin but I was not with the types of chemicals that were in our everyday products. After 6 years of still suffering with break outs, I started researching product ingredients/chemicals and their effects on the skin, then formulating and testing my own skin care creations, I can now wash my hands and moisturize them as many times as I want with no issues. My passion for art and crafting has also been a big factor in starting this journey.
My dear friend of 25 years, Ally, came along in 2021 to help me. She is a full time Nurse and mother, our General Manager/Marketing, among other titles, we ware many hats in our small business. Like me she also has skin issues from the multiple hand washings and use of hand sanitizers that cause her hands to become very dry, red and cracked. Ally has since found relief from using and personally testing each product.
We love our soaps and know you will too, our personal favorites include the Vanilla Coconut, Butt Naked and Blue Raspberry, but it is so hard to choose as they all smell so nice! With the many different varieties of products and scents we have you really can't go wrong.
Mission
Our company mission is to create quality products at an affordable price. These products are not only natural they are beautiful and artsy, and smell fantastic! We use natural, certified organic, sustainable and skin safe ingredients to create our products. For anyone with any type of skin issue such as Eczema, dry skin, skin allergies, etc. we try our best to create products just for you.
